Our Story

Our Beginnings
San Diego Farmer's Markets
Founded in the fall of 2020, Ethan and Sophia started as a small vendor selling artificial lucky bamboo sculptures at local farmer's markets in San Diego. They filled their 10 x 10 booth with intricate synthetic botanicals. Though San Diego is known for sunny weather, rain frequently disrupted Sunday markets. Some days they sold just one item, but persistence paid off as their booth gradually attracted loyal customers fascinated by their lifelike creations.

The Launch of Camadora.com
After repeated requests from shoppers, Ethan and Sophia launched Camadora.com in late 2020. Leveraging Ethan's tech skills, they coded an online store overnight and received their first order within 5 hours. Their inaugural shipment of a polymer clay bonsai ended with a shattered container, prompting them to develop custom protective packaging still used today.

Establishing Camadora
Operating from their garage until 2022, the duo moved to a 500 sq ft warehouse that initially seemed cavernous with only three inventory pallets of resin orchids and silk foliage. Within a year, they outgrew the space. Over the next two years, they expanded product lines to include LED-illuminated acrylic bonsais, modular zen garden systems, and premium preserved moss wall art.
In 2023, they relocated to a larger production facility that soon became cramped. In July 2023, growing demand required purchasing an industrial property. As business boomed, they began developing proprietary 3D-printed plant replicas using biodegradable filaments. In 2024, two additional workshops were established to craft specialized specimens like crystal-embedded maples and solar-powered juniper installations. Camadora became a trusted supplier for hyper-realistic artificial botanicals and contemporary decor solutions.
In 2025, Ethan and Sophia opened an immersive design studio and exhibition space. Visitors explore the creation process of synthetic botanicals, from CAD designs to finished pieces. Clients can customize arrangements for shipping or consult directly with Sophia about material innovations. The space blends manufacturing operations with educational displays of raw polymers transforming into breathtaking artificial landscapes.

Our Service
Despite scaling from garage startup to multi-studio enterprise, Camadora maintains its founding principle: delivering personalized service and stress-free shopping. Customers can browse holographic catalogs or call for expert guidance on material maintenance. Every inquiry receives thoughtful attention, keeping alive the hands-on spirit that began at those rainy farmer's markets.
